I have come across some great HZD fanfic and since it is HZD Week, I wanted to share some of them with you.

Stormbirds and Stalkers @pikapeppa : A wonderful Niloy fic that brings all of the feels (Especially in the continuation, Shadow of the Stormbird)

After the Shadows Pass @mightylauren : A heartwarming Ereloy fic that will ensure you love this pairing. 

A collection of one-shots by @valaloy for Femslash Feb. All the cutesy fluff you could ever want!!

Luminance @silencenorth The first HZD fic I ever read, which spawned my own fic. 😉

A Whole New Life, If You Want It by seademons (Don’t know if they have a Tumblr or not) 

There are also some great one-shots out there and I would recommend anything written by the above authors. Some you may want to look at the tags for their other fics before proceeding but these are the ones I love. And obviously, I haven’t read everything out there, so if you have some recs, let me know. Always looking for new HZD content!

Horizon Zero Dawn’s 1 year anniversary is steadily approaching. I can’t believe a year has almost flown by! To celebrate it’s first year being release, the staff of @dailyhorizon and I have decided to host a #hzdweek! It will start on February 21st and ends on February 28th. This gives more than 2 months to prepare so you don’t have to stress about it.

  • Day #1: All About Aloy (of course Aloy needs her own day! You can do feature, personality, whatever you want)
  • Day #2: Nature or Technology (do you like the beautiful nature or do you like places like the bunkers, cauldrons, etc?)
  • Day #3: Terraforming vs Weapons Machines (do you like the machines who help the earth or do you like the machines who were made to kill hunters and protect the terraforming machines?)
  • Day #4: Best NPC(s) or Best Soundtrack
  • Day #5: Tribe Cities or Ruins (do you like exploring the tribe cities like meridian, mother’s heart, pitchcliff or do you like exploring the ruins more?)
  • Day #6: Most Emotional Scene
  • Day #7: Free Day/The Frozen Wilds (For those who don’t have the dlc, you can just do a free day and for those who do, tell us what you enjoyed most about the dlc or just really do anything for it!)

The tag will be #hzdweek (no space!). Make sure it’s one of the first 5 tags or it won’t show up in the tags. I don’t want anyone to feel left out. If you have any questions, please contact me or send us an ask at @dailyhorizon! Help us spread the word and let’s have some fun!
